On week two of being sick. Lots of fun being had, let me tell you. Week 1 was a viral infection in my chest–lots of hacking and sore throats. It got pretty bad a few days, but I decided that wasn’t enough and wanted more. So this weekend I then got viral pink eye in both eyes. Now we are talking! It’s not enough to be hacking awesomeness out of my lungs, I also need it leaking from my eyes. Perhaps next week I will infect a new body part.
Things I have consumed waaay too much of while being sick:
- Sprite/Zup/Sierra Mist
- Chamomile Tea with honey
- Ramen
- Robitussin cough medicine
Also, is there such a thing as too much hand sanitizer? Because I have been using crazy amounts in an effort to keep my eye herpes away from Mr. W and my brother. So far, so good. (Of course, I have now jinxed the whole thing.)
One good thing that is going on, however, is the Steam Summer Sale. I love the Steam Summer Sale, because I can spend lots of money on games at discount prices! I actually haven’t spent that much (about $15 or $16) and I have gotten:
- Organ Trail (exactly like old school Oregon Trail, but with zombies)
- Don’t Starve
- Deadlight
- Surgeon Simulator 2013
- Reus
Of course, I haven’t felt like playing any because I am sick, but whatever. I have been working from home (so thankful to have a job where I can do that) and spend my evenings watching Netflix or Hulu. When I am sick I like to just watch TV. I don’t even have the energy to read. That is sad.
Blogging about the Steam Summer Sale reminded me to check the latest sales. I have now also purchased Orcs Must Die 2.
