Overtime, Grossness, and Lots o’ Limbs

Is it weird that (in my department) I’m the first one to work and the last one to leave?  We’re behind on some things that need finished by the end of the year and have been given a green light on overtime.  I figure, “Hey, I don’t have a life.  Might as well get some extra money out of it.”

Moving into an apartment without a dishwasher was a very bad idea for Teri.  I hate doing dishes.  And, as with all things that I hate, I put it off.  As I’m sure you know, that only makes things worse.  I finally did the dishes today and am now A.) totally revolted and B.) converting to paper and plasticware to avoid this problem in the future.  Okay, probably not.  But I’d like to.  Damnit.

This news item was so unusual that I couldn’t not post it:

That is all.

  1. Jesus Christ! I could have gone my whole life without seeing that picture. Damn Teri! Now I'm back to never wanting kids. So cute … but so like an octopus. I'm frakkin' scared for life!

  2. I would totally work overtime if my department offered it.
By the way, thanks for reminding me about Yahoo Launch! I recently discovered that it's no longer blocked at work, so I've been listening.

    • Also, if it's accessible, you might want to try pandora.com. You put in a couple artists that you love, and it takes the commonalities of what you like and gives you new music in the same vein. It's awesome (and free).

What do you think?
